The non-operating solar projects: Examining the impact of the feed-in tariff amendment in Japan

The non-operating solar power projects indicate a large gap between the operating and approved capacity in Japan. country amended feed-in tariff (FIT) law 2017 to address this issue. This empirical study investigates impact of FIT policy on using municipality-level panel data from 2014 2019. We find that improved relationship projects. impacts are heterogeneous across different sizes projects: they more substantial large- mega-scale than small-scale ones.
